Sustainable Engineering

The main goal of this project is to find alternatives to mitigate the environmental impact of the infrastructure. This project is the beginning of the work of the group Sustainable Engineering in what refers to sustainable infrastructure. Future studies would include the study of the environmental behavior of other construction materials, compilation of inputs and outputs from the stages of use and end of life.

Goals:

Incorporation of sustainability criteria in Engineering and Technological Innovation, with particular emphasis on the sustainability of energy systems, infrastructure, materials and food.
Quantification of the environmental performance of cement production in Ecuador.
